Hard To Survive
Temperatures exceeding hot both land and people start to rot
Can't provide for themselves because resources are so nil
I sympathize it's enough to make me cry
When we got so much and they have none and they ain't got no place to run
This makes it hard to, down there it's hard to survive
Situation's out of hand starvation all across the land
U.s. aid can only do part of what needs to be done
So the story goes on and on how long who knows?
Salvation is the only thing that matters to these human beings
Emaciated little kids don't know what happy childhood is
Living through a ten year drought is more than simply doing without
